Boss Fight Tips (General, applies to every fight)

Manage the clock before you fight. Because the 30-day calendar drives the whole game, enter major fights rested and with spare days in case a boss forces you to retreat and re-approach.
Day vs night changes your toolkit. By day you rely on blocking and parrying; at night you have vampiric powers. If a fight lets you choose when to trigger it, pick the time of day that matches your build.
Watch your infamy. If you have been rampaging at night, guards and bounty hunters may interrupt an otherwise clean boss attempt.
Use the four-directional block system. Enemy attack directions matter — block the wrong angle and you eat the hit.
